About Steady Carriers

 

Steady Carriers began with a daughter’s love and a simple goal: help her World War II veteran father maintain his independence. Watching him struggle to lift his walker into the car, she sketched out a better solution. Her husband — a skilled ironworker and proud Vietnam veteran — took her idea and built it by hand.

What started as a personal project quickly grew into a mission. Today, Steady Carriers offers a full line of mobility solutions: our original rollator carrier, a wheelchair carrier, and a dual tandem version designed to carry a walker, a wheelchair, or both — all with no lifting, no strain, and no compromise.

Each carrier is built from welded steel, powder-coated for durability, and proudly made in the USA. Though it was inspired by a veteran, Steady Carriers is for anyone in need of greater mobility — veterans, seniors, caregivers, and those recovering from injury alike.

Carrying the torch into a new chapter, Steady Carriers remains rooted in the same values of family, service, and strength. We aim to honor those who need assistance by continuing to provide simple, reliable solutions that restore freedom and dignity.
